Math and Science Tournament
The following students from Leake Academy recently attended the Mississippi College Science and Mathematics Tournament in Division 3: Andrew McBeath, Sarah James, Lindsey Tillman, and Austin Howard. Austin Howard placed first in mathematics and first in chemistry. Lindsey Tillman placed in the top 20 percent in chemistry.
Austin and Lindsey also attended the physics competition at Mississippi State in the Einstein division: Austin placed first at that competition.
