The LA Drama Club will present Seussical--The Musical Thursday, April 14, and Friday, April 15, in the school auditorium at Leake Academy. The performances will begin each night at 7:30 P. M. For tickets, please call the school at 601-267-4461.
Seussical is based on the works of Dr. Seuss. The musical is a story which weaves together his most famous tales and characters in unexpected ways.
Dr. Seuss believed in helping a friend, in not giving up, in keeping a promise. He believed in the value and dignity of ethics, in working to preserve the fragile sweetness of the natural world, and the peace in the ultimate ideal among nations and in every heart. He also believed in the pure power of the imagination. You will find all of these serious concerns at the heart of Seussical.
