Halloween Carnival 2005-06
Leake Academy celebrated another successful Halloween Carnival on Saturday night, October 29, 2005. The month long fundraiser sponsored by the PTO brought in a total of $154,512.62. Proceeds from the carnival benefit the school in making improvements, expansions, and purchasing necessary classroom equipment, etc. Jeffery Jones, PTO President, and Jerry Crowe, Headmaster, express their appreciation to patrons for their hard work during October.
Kings and Queens who won each category are as follows:
Anna Claire Vance and Jackson Adams representing the 5-year-old kindergarten classes won the kindergarten category. Anna Claire is the daughter of Bobby Gene and Brandy Vance of Philadelphia. Jackson is the son of Russell and Monical Adams of Philadelphia.
Annika Jones and Warren Harrison, representing the 1st grade won the 1st - 3rd grade category. Annika is the daughter of Doug and Deanna Jones of PHiladelphia. Warren is the son of James and Emily Harrison of Forest.
Kristen Lee, representing the 6th grade won the 4th-6th grade category. Kristen is the daughter of Stuart and Michelle Lee of Philadelphia.
The seventh grade class won the Jr. HIgh division and the Senior class won the high school division.
