2005 LA Spirit Week
2005 Leake Academy Homecoming "REMEMBER THE REBELS" will be Friday, September 16. This will be the 36th Homecoming at LA and we are encouraging all alumni, football players, cheerleaders, and band members to be at the game. Watch for more information on the LA website (leakeacademy.com).
To promote the festivities at LA, the LA cheerleaders are sponsoring "Spirit Week."
Listed below are several ways we can support our Rebels.
(1) Each day of the week, all students at LA are encouraged to dress according to the list below. Each day, elementary students will be judged and prizes will be awarded to the "Best Dressed." Tattoos will also be on sale everyday this week for $1.00.
Monday:: Tacky Day!
Tuesday: Camo Day!
Wednesday: Bling Bling Day!
Thursday: Joe Dirt Day!
Friday: Spirit Day! (wear Homecoming T-shirts)
(2) K4 - 3rd grade elementary students are encouraged to enter the REBEL MAN COLORING CONTEST. Prizes will be given for the best "Rebel Man". Attached is your Coloring Sheet. Please return this to your child's homeroom teacher. The deadline for the coloring sheet is Tuesday, September 13.
(3) Homecoming t-shirts are now on sale. Detach the order form below to order your t-shirt. Due to school being cancelled last week, we need this order form back asap! The last day orders will be taken is THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8. After Thursday, any extra t-shirts will be sold and after they are gone no more t-shirts will be printed. We are asking all Elementary and High School students to get your order in tomorrow! Buy a t-shirt and wear it on Friday!
