Youth Leadership Program Participant
Stefanie Vamenta was one of the two students elected for this year's EPA of MS Youth Leadership Program. The selection process included an interview by a panel of judges in which the nominees were questioned of their personal background, leadership skills, community services, and extracurricular activities. The workshop is to be held in Jackson, MS, during March 1-3, 2006. The program also includes a ten day trip to Washington, D.C. in June where the students will listen to speakers, browse the historical sites, and meet other teenagers who were also nominated to the program.
