Mrs. Deanna Jones's Parent-Led Activity
On January 31, 2007, Mrs. Strength's second graders participated in a delightful parent-led activity by Mrs. Deanna Jones. Mrs. Jones led an art project where students designed snowflakes with boiled spaghetti noodles. First, students drew the design on a piece of waxed paper and then cut segments of the noodles to place on top of their design. Second, they applied adhesive to their design; and finally, each wonderful winter creation sparkled with an application of silver glitter. Thank you, Mrs. Jones, for sharing with our class.
