The Mississippi Walk for Diabetes was held on October 21st at Southern Farm Bureau in Jackson. The weather was awesome and the walk was a huge success. Once again, several students walked with Kaitlan Sudduth's team. They were there not only to show their support for Kaitlan, but for the many children and adults with diabetes. Hats off to the Junior Beta members and Mrs. Turner! They showed their support by raising over $450 for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi. Every dollar raised stays in the state to fund research and educational programs and to provide various services. Thanks to all of those who helped to make this year's walk a success.
