Eddie Spencer Comes to LA

Eddie Spencer who is the associate pastor at Alta Woods United Methodist Church, came to speak at Leake Academy. He spoke to the high school students about his life and how hurtful words can destroy self confidence. Mr. Spencer has worked with Young Life in Jackson. He was also recognized by USA Today as a drug-fighting hero. He now speaks at schools, churches, and conferences about his life. He also has a book about his life story that was sold to the students at the assembly.
