First Grade
 Mrs. Lynn Wilson
Mrs. Lynn Wilson a first grade teacher at Leake Academy graduated from McCluer Academy and Mississippi College. She is married to Richard Wilson. They have a daughter, Mary Lauren, a freshman at Ole Miss, and a son, Grant, in the tenth grade. Mrs. Wilson has taught kindergarten at Kosciusko Separate School District, first and fifth grades at Starkville Academy, K-4 at First Methodist in Philadelphia, and has been a first grade teacher here at Leake Academy for fourteen years.

 Mrs. Dawn Harrell
Dawn Harrell teaches first grade at Leake Academy. She has taught kindergarten, second, fourth, and sixth grades during her career. She is married to Jeff Harrell, postmaster of the Carthage Post Office. They have two children. Hayly is a fourth grade student here at Leake Academy, and Hannah Mae is in k-4. Mrs. Harrell and her family reside in Freeny and attend Freeny Baptist Church.
