Christian Student Organization
The Christian Student Organization at Leake Academy was organized to provide students with an opportunity to share their Christian beliefs and serve as role models to others. It is also a service organization with the purpose of helping those in need. The club is divided into a senior division for grades 10-12 and a junior division for grades 7-9.
The Senior Christian Student Organization (SCSO) has two annual activities. On the third Wednesday in September, they sponsor See You at the Pole for the entire student body. This event involves millions of students around the world who gather together at the flagpole at their schools and pray. In December the club participates in Operation Christmas Child sponsored by Samaritan's Purse.

The Senior Christian Student Organization sponsored See You at the Pole on September 26. This event is celebrated annually by students world wide in September. This year students focused on the theme COME TOGETHER based on John 17: 20-23. Students were encouraged to GATHER at the school flag pole UNITE in the name of the One Who died to save us, and PRAY for out school, friends, and families. Activities included a devotion, followed by an interpretive movement, and ended with students gathering around the flagpole and praying the Lord's Prayer.
Junior Christian Student Organization is comitted to Christian values, citizenship, and community service. Service projects include assisting in food drives and furnishing Christmas presents for nursing home residents.
